They are estimates from a photo, and a photo cannot see inside a sandwich or weigh a portion. Expect them to be roughly right and sometimes wrong. That is why the result is broken down item by item and every line is editable, and why Dayli asks one quick question when it is unsure. Correct an item once and it remembers your correction next time.

Yes. Meals, weigh-ins, water, Buddy and the neighborhood all work. Without Apple Health there is no activity, sleep or workout data, so your calorie budget cannot account for what you burn and workouts cannot earn coins.

Both. The Today widget shows calories left, protein, water, steps and coins on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen, and the Water widget logs a glass with one tap. The Apple Watch app shows today's ring, logs water, and shows your coins and current challenge, with complications for the watch face. Both read the day your iPhone already has; nothing is sent anywhere for them.

Everything you track is free. Your first 10 photo scans are free too. After that, Plus keeps the camera going with up to 10 photo scans a day, and lets you link your Apple ID so your neighborhood follows you to a new phone. It costs $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, billed through Apple, and can be cancelled in Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions.

Your home, its name and avatar, its level and land, what you built, your reputation, and challenge progress in quarters. Never your real name unless you typed it as the home's name, and never your weight, meals, photos or anything from Apple Health.

Only workouts recorded by Apple Health pay, which is what keeps the game honest. A workout typed into Dayli by hand is logged for you, but it does not earn. Check that Apple Health access is on in Settings and that the workout shows on the Workouts screen.

Settings, Delete all data clears everything on the phone. Deleting the app does the same. The neighborhood account is anonymous; if you linked your Apple ID and want the cloud copy of your game removed, email us and it is gone.

No. Dayli gives general wellness guidance and photo-based estimates. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything. Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before changing how you eat in a big way.
